'A Registered Charity in Scotland'

St Andrew's Cathedral
known as Inverness Cathedral

Today's Date: Tuesday 6th October 2026

Inverness Cathedral is excited to launch our After School Crafting Club! This club takes place every Wednesday, beginning on 24 August 2022, at Kenneth Street Hall, located at 9-11 Kenneth Street. Our Crafting Club will last from 3pm to 4.15pm and parents must show photo ID when picking up their children (please contact Kristy Strange – details below, if you have issues with this). If someone new is collecting your child on your behalf, you must notify us beforehand and the person picking-up the child must show their photo ID. Light refreshments including crackers, fruit, and juice will be provided for children. This after school club is open to all primary school pupils in the local area and is completely free to attend. Please speak to your child’s school regarding children getting to Kenneth Street Hall. If no one is able to walk your child over to the club, please contact us to see if we can help find a solution for you. Finally, if your child is absent from a session, please contact Kristy Strange as soon as possible to provide notice of this absence.

Every week, children will create a unique craft (crafts vary depending on age) that they can take home at the end of the session. Some more complex crafts may be worked on over the course of 2-3 sessions. Parents are welcome to stay for the duration of the club, if desired.

After the October holidays, depending on the results of a funding application currently being deliberated, this club may incorporate a Book Club. More details will follow if this takes place.
