Inverness Cathedral community hall is available to hire 7 days a week from 9am until 11pm.
We accept regular group bookings, one off events, parties for children and adults. The hall can fit a bouncy castle and tables in comfortably. Hall hire costs are from £20 per hour, which includes free use of the tables and chairs. There is a projector and screen plus piano available at an extra cost. We also have a fully equipped kitchen for hire (POA).
Inverness Cathedral Playgroup takes place every Tuesday at 9:30am until 11am at Inverness Cathedral Community Hall, located at 11 Kenneth Street. This playgroup is open to all children under 5-years-old and their parents; please don’t hesitate to contact us if you would like to bring along a child 5-years-old or over, especially during school holidays. Parents must accompany their child(ren) throughout the duration of playgroup. The playgroup consists of lots of free-play followed by a sing-along and story time. Light refreshments are available including tea and coffee.
The Messy Church sessions of playgroup take place on the last Tuesday of every month. These sessions begin with a planned activity/craft, include the usual free-play, snack time, and sing-along then end with a Bible story time. We also have two P6/P7 pupils from Bishop Eden’s Primary School on-site as volunteers during Messy Church.
Inverness Cathedral Playgroup & Messy Church sessions are free to attend (donations welcomed!). Due to high demand and limited spaces, booking is mandatory. You can book a place via our Facebook group, Inverness Cathedral Family Events & Updates (https://www.facebook.com/groups/225124306072370/), or by contacting our Curate, Laura Symon, via email (la*********@in****************.org) or telephone (01463 225553).
